Royal-TFrom Grime WikipediaBiographyThe man behind the mask, or under the crown of 'Royal-T', goes by the name of Mark Taylor; an 18 year old record producer from Southampton, England. This young FL Studio demon's sounds are spreading around airwaves as time progresses and can be heard frequently on such radio stations as Rinse FM, Pyro Radio, Manic FM and Axe FM. Royal's music has also featured, on a couple of occasions, on Kiss 100 and BBC station 1Xtra, which are both well known stations for showcasing future budding musical talent. The success was brought when 'Royal-T' was approached by established Grime artist 'Blacks', who was on the look out for new, fresh artists to help him embark on pushing the Grime scene forward, it was one certain instrumental however that caught 'Blacks' attention. The instrumental of choice was an unheard song entitled, simply 'Bass', it was 'an instant hit' according to the O.G's MC and with the help of Grime veteran MC Jendor and the perfect vocal skills of young male vocalist Olly Boi, a hit was born. After recieving solid feedback for the song, it was this that triggered a different outlook, musically in his next path. Another highlight to the 'Royal-T' music CV is the signing of one of his instrumentals to clothing line Puma for one of their advertising campaigns which will be avaliable in April 2009. The future looks bright for this young producer with a production appearance on East London MC, 'Snoopy's' new Mix CD, 'Dog Eat Dog World', with a track entitled 'Hit 'Em' and more production credit to projects for North London MC, 'Untitled'. Also look out for a vocal of his most famous beat to date '1up' by Pmoney on his mixtape Money Over Everyone which will be out soon. For now 'Royal-T' is sitting proud of his ever growing status and is aiming to release a digital and physical EP within the next year, so watch this space for any updates and enjoy the music.
