Aim High: The Revolution
The next in the Aim High series of Aim High mixtapes released by Target and Danny Weed of Roll Deep. As in the previous mixtapes it will feature various artists over their productions and will be released 26th October 2009.
This mixtape is expected to be much more of a commercial sound to previous Aim High mixtapes due to the inclusion of many artists commonly viewed by grime fans as "sell outs" (e.g. Kano, Dizzee Rascal, Chipmunk), makers of "bait hiphop" (Scorcher and Wretch 32) or artists who rely too much on boring "swagger" boasting (Double S). Whether this will be true remains to be seen but the artists on the forthcoming release are very different from the much more grimey artists included on previous Aim High mixtapes such as God's Gift, Discarda, All in One, Dogzilla, Stamina etc.
