Bruza (real name Shaun Barker) is a grime MC from Walthamstow, East London, and is currently a member of the Aftershock camp. He states his MC name takes influence from a boxing background, as well as intent to leave a mark on the scene, or intent in 'bruising' the game. Bruza was formerly a member of the Reckless Crew, where he could be heard on Rinse FM learning his skills through the jungle and drum and bass scenes. Reckless also consisted of Triple Threat, then known as 'Lethal MC', and Terror Danjah who was DJ. Bruza sometimes calls himself 'microphone hooligan', and his stop-start style is easily recognisable, which is mostly in a cockney afflection.

He first left his print on the grime scene when he brought out his single "Get Me" produced by DOK (also from the Aftershock camp), with the single got it's main promotion through it's music video on Channel U. He features on Lord Of The Mics 1, in a clash against fellow East London MC Crazy Titch.
