DevilmanFrom Grime Wikipedia
D.E.VelopmentBiographyHailing from Birmingham - B19 for accuracy’s sake - DE-Velopment’s has an extra spring in his step that’s seen him leap over the stigma attached to non-M25 based artists. Testament to the line ‘It ain’t a London thing’, a sharp-spitting rhyme reeler is stepping forth from the smog-filled city of Brum in a bid to wake the game up. D.E.Velopment is known for his unique style and his semi chinese bars "voom mai long tong dang jong weng seng" from that point, via radio waves and various raves, an army of fans ate up DE’s catchy bars, mind-lingering lyrics and entertaining flow. He is signed to Haterproof Recordz. Progression in the SceneBy now DE and fellow MC Badness had archived recognition outside of the Midlands and soon joined Terror Danjah's Aftershock Camp with hype growing, there was only one thing holding him back - his 666-styled pseudonym. DE was known as Devilman at the time but changed his name due to beef with another Devilman. SnitchingBasically word around birmingham at that time was that devilman, madman and a few others done something at the time (not too sure what it was) and madman got sent down for it. Madman went into his interview and answered no comment to every question, and one of the officers said that he should talk because everyone else was talking, and mentioned devilman's name (you can see this on Madman's statements on his page). Madman then got sent down and blamed devilman. That's what the word on road was at the time and d-e-velopment isn't a crew it's what devilman changed his official name to because people were calling him a devil worshiper so now he's known as d-e-velopment.[1] Why he changed his namebasically all these about devil worshiper and shit is rong. there was a geezer called devilman before him but was never as good and never as known as the devilman we know. the real devilman told the devilman(d-e-v) to change his name because if he ever caught him around birmingham again he wud kill him. so he changed it to d-e-velopment.
