Esco was a very highly-rated grime MC from Leytonstone, E11, East London, and represented the Slew Dem Crew. Despite being highly regarded in the grime scene he never released a mixtape, partly because he had to serve a jail term.He is also the brother of England & Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.

Despite not having released a mixtape he featured on the soundtrack for Lord Of The Mics 2 and Lord Of The Decks 1, and vocalled the Skepta beat 'D.T.I', as well as JME's '96 Bars'.

Sadly Jade Defoe, a.k.a Esco Bars passed away on the 24th of April 2009, he will be truely missed... RIP ESCO BIG BARS

Future Releases

On the 28th of April Kiss 100 DJ Logan Sama announced that S.K.I.T.Z. Beatz would be releasing 2 Esco mixtapes containing unheard/unreleased tracks.

The mixtapes will be titled Barz 2 Bricks and Training Day. All the proceeds will be given to his children that he left behind.
