Biography

Thursday 22nd January 1987 was the date it all started for Levels. Born and raised in North London, Tottenham, N15 and originating from Jamaica and St. Vincent, Levels has been emceeing from when he was in secondary school, growing up with the likes of Black The Ripper, Dynamic, Natural and Remson, which was where he first established himself within the music game. He was first heard on Heat FM 96.6 FM with his crew Small Soldiers in 2001/2. Levels met recognition through the highly acclaimed single "Over and Over" which he featured on by Natz2Nice. After featuring on “Angels in Heaven” and “Wifey Riddim”, Levels laid down a foundation in the grime scene as household name.


Levels has collaborated with many artists and producers in the scene and has recorded a mix-tape with his fellow Small Soldier, Chuckie; “In Da Manor Vol.1”. He is currently working on “In Da Manor Vol.2” as well as a Small Soldiers mix-tape.


Levels has developed a connection with DJ Ironik since 2005 and ever since they have collaborated and made huge hit singles as well as all-star tracks. Currently DJ Ironik and Levels are working with Eskiboy to produce an album. Look out for that in the near future.


Not only does Levels emcee but he is also a host for DJ Ironik and has performed in many shows all over England. Moreover his work with Tinie Tempah has also given him recognition as a charismatic, energetic, and humorous stage show host.


In short Levels has proved to be a forced to be reckoned with and is definitely one to watch out for, with his resourcefulness, unheard flows and unmatched lyrics Levels will surely prove himself to the doubters. His versatility and ability to adapt is an effective point in his music.
