Biography

Scratchy is an East London E14, E3 MC and member of the crew Roll Deep, having joined from 'Flying Squad'. He is famously the first white grime artist to make a name for himself in the scene.

Scratchy went to school with former Roll Deep member Trim and also Danny Weed.

He took part in Lord Of The Mics 1 where he clashed Footsie and is generally thought to have won, despite being the underdog.


In 2010, the video for Scratchy's song "Girls" came out. The song featured on the urban compilation album 'Supa Dupa 2010'. In the song, Scratchy mostly sings. Brazen makes a cameo appearance in the video. He also appeared on Roll Deep's album Winner Stays On, including appearances on the hits 'Good Times' and 'Green Light'.

In 2011, Scratchy made a popular appearance on Manga's tune 'No MC'. He also took part in the video shoot.
