Background

Target (real name Darren Joseph) is a grime producer from East London. He was a founder member of Pay As You Go. Contrary to popular opinion he did not actually join Roll Deep when it was formed but remained a member of Pay As U Go but he appeared like he was a Roll Deep member due to the fact he was always around the crew. It wasn't until Roll Deep recorded their first album that he became an official member[1]. He is recognised as one of the figureheads of Roll Deep, especially since that Wiley has been focusing on solo projects.

Target hosts his own radio show on the BBC station 1Xtra, playing hip hop and other urban music as well as grime. The show currently on Sunday evenings from 7-9. He is also responsible for the Aim High series of grime mixtapes and DVDs.
