Team SupremeFrom Grime Wikipedia
AboutTeamSupreme is a UK and US music blog co-owned by Lee and Gibzen, and ran with help from fellow admins AK and Spiko. The site was launched in November 2008. They specialise in all varieties of music, specifically US Hip-Hop/R&B and UK Hip-Hop/Grime. TeamSupreme is recognised by artist's all over the UK, including Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah, Kano, DJ Ironik, Marvell, Davinche and many more. TS are heavily affiliated with a vast majority of the most popular music blogs across the world, including the New Music Cartel (NahRight, 2dopeboyz, YouHeardThatNew etc.) and RapRadar, as well as being recommended by 1Xtra. They have also recieved support from DJ Semtex from day one. The layout of the site has recieved critical acclaim worldwide, for it's presentation and superb graphic work. After being banned by Wordpress with no warning or reason, TeamSupreme had a major overhaul and started from scratch. They relaunched in June 2009 following this, returning as 'TeamSupreme Music' with a .com domain. AimTeamSupreme aim to provide music from around the world in a quick and reliable manner. It has been a long term of goal of their's to have music from UK artist's shown more support around the world, and have been able to succed in doing so. "We feel that the UK artists have just as much talent as those from America, so why shouldn't they get the same support?" states Lee. This goes for both established and unestablished artists. In a direct way of doing so, TS promote several MC's, which you can read about in more detail below. When they started out, there were not many blogs of their kind from England. Lee recalls "Being from England, we knew we were at a slight disavantage. We see hundreds of new blogs starting in America every week with nothing original or new. We can provide both that whilst being from England. And don't get it twisted, we remember where we are from and still proudly post UK music, even helping to release some." ArtistsTeamSupreme are well known for their support of two of the best upcoming grime artists, Dream McLean and Siris. Both are working their way up in the scene, and had a little break in August when they featured on Tim Westwood's Radio Show. Since then, Dream McLean has gone on to feature on radio shows with DJ Cameo and Logan Sama, whilst Siris is preparing the release of his latest promo on New Year's Day. They are also affilliated with rising UK Hip-Hop artist Barn-B. ReleasesTo help show support for the Grime Scene, TeamSupreme has released free promos with some of the UK's finest young artists. The releases are the acclaimed 'A Real Shock' Joint Promo by Realist and Voltage, 'Certified Talent' by Voltage, Maxsta and Nutcase, 'The Purple Promo' by Dream McLean, 'The Promo Vol 2' by Siris and 'The Eighth Pioneer' by S.Samuel. Using their connects, TS have helped the projects reach audiences in America by getting them posted on US based blogs. They have upcoming releases with Siris, Dream McLean, Terrorsum and two of the best upcoming rising producers in Grime, J Beatz and Teeza, hopefully with many more to come. In December 2009, TeamSupreme, alongside affiliated designer TrueFinesse, assisted Cookie with the cover of his 'The Recipe EP' project.
